At The Tan Cabana here in Annapolis, we're very passionate about helping local charities and organizations (and looking gorgeously tan while doing so!). The Tan Cabana's owner and CEO, Anna McMillan, is a huge animal lover and local philanthropist, and it's very important to our tanning salon company as a whole to help any and all people and animals who need love, support and assistance!
Because of our passion for helping those in need, The Tan Cabana in Annapolis wants to make it a point of spreading the word about some local organizations and charities to support, and encourage our favorite people--you, our tanning salon clients--to get out there and do something good for others while looking and feeling beautiful with our all-natural, organic, professionally applied airbrush tans!

All right our spray tanning friends, now we're going to discuss our top organizations for places to volunteer, serve and fund-raise in the Annapolis area:
1. Rude Ranch Animal Rescue:
This no-kill animal sanctuary in Harwood is the perfect place to volunteer if you're an animal lover. Choose from options like the feral cat socializer, animal caretaker and/or help with fundraising to spread the word about this cageless animal rescue and sanctuary specifically tailored to help at-risk animals, special needs animals, and abandoned kitties and doggies! 2. Annapolis Lighthouse Homeless Shelter:
This local homeless prevention support center right here in Annapolis provides volunteer opportunities to help disadvantaged men, women and children in many ways. Consider working at the front desk, assisting residents to study for their GEDs, sponsor a food drive with your friends and family, and/or serve breakfast to the residents by providing a healthy, filling meal for up to 30 individuals. 3. Chesapeake Bay Foundation:
Here in Annapolis, this foundation has been working to clean, restore and protect the Chesapeake Bay for many years. They are always looking for volunteers, so if you're passionate about the local environment and the animals living here in our bay, consider signing up to assist with various opportunities such as: oyster restoration, public outreach at local festivals and fairs, bay-friendly landscaping and gardening, and stream and shoreline restoration.
