The Tan Cabana's Tips for Swimsuit Season and Spray Tans

*When you receive a professional airbrush tan with us, the instant cosmetic bronzer that shows up as your underlying Tan Cabana spray tan develops is water-soluble and washes out of most fabrics except for leather and nylon--so please keep that in mind if you plan on wearing your swimsuit immediately after a spray tan appointment before you've showered!

*Our spray tans create the illusion of making you appear five to ten pounds thinner, which is perfect for a pool party or anytime you plan on showing off your curves in your swimsuit! We also spray our tanning solution with handheld devices, allowing us to contour certain areas of your body for maximum results, while leaving NO missed spots or streaks!

*The Tan Cabana wants to remind our clients that you CAN and WILL get a sunburn over your spray tan if you DO NOT HEED SUNSCREEN REQUIREMENTS for SPF levels and reapplication. Swimming and chlorine will make spray tans fade more quickly, but we offer several products that combat fading and moisturize your skin for a longer-lasting spray tan!

The Best Swimsuits for Your Body Type

-Small breasts and butt: Ruffles and embellishments are your friend! They draw the eye and create the illusion of fullness in those areas. Also consider bikinis and smaller bottoms, as those allow you to flaunt your petite figure!

-Wanting tummy or love handle coverage: The Tan Cabana LOVES high-waisted bikinis for something retro, or tankinis for a bit more coverage while still showing off that bit of bronzed skin.

-Shorter legs: go for bottoms that sit higher on your hips to create the illusion of model-esque legs! If you're REALLY brave (and you're all bronzed with your Tan Cabana spray tan!), go for a thong to really elongate your legs and bum!

-Athletic with less "curves": to create that look of an hourglass shape, consider a one-piece with ruffles around the hips to make them appear larger, and go for tops with padding or cleavage-creating shapes to look even more feminine!
