-There are plenty of exciting and fun ways to show off your premier custom airbrush tan this month in our local city of Annapolis!
That's right; The Tan Cabana wants to encourage you to enjoy a spring break "staycation"--just because you can't jet off to a beach in the Bahamas and it's still in the 50's and 60's here in good ol' Annapolis doesn't mean you shouldn't look and feel beautifully tan! Check out The Tan Cabana's suggestions below for some amazing ways to enjoy spring break here with a "staycation"--and be sure to book your custom spray tan before you head out!
1. Visit Annapolis's countryside
Whether for a day trip or an overnight stay at an adorable bed and breakfast nearby, Annapolis's countryside is the perfect way to stay close to home, but experience a completely new setting (with your beautiful custom spray tan, hopefully!). Explore the rural seaport towns of Galesville, Shady Side and Deale, and have a picnic in the sprawling eight-acre woodlands and garden of historic London Town. Eat a delicious dinner on the water Edgewater or Killarney House, or even stop at a local vineyard like Great Frogs Winery for a wine tasting.

2. 6th Annual Annapolis Oyster Roast and Sock Burning
You heard right--sock burning! This fun and historical event held at the Annapolis Maritime Museum on March 19, 2016 from noon to 4 p.m. celebrates a favorite pastime of Annapolis sailors of old; to issue in spring weather, they would symbolically burn their socks to say goodbye to winter! (Sounds pretty good, right?) The Tan Cabana has a twist--why not schedule your gorgeous, custom hand-sprayed airbrush tan the night before so that when you arrive to the oyster roast, you're glowing and gorgeous while bidding farewell to winter temperatures?! 3. Annapolis's Irish Week
Though it's already begun, there are still several days to celebrate Annapolis's annual Irish Week leading up to St. Patrick's Day! March 11th will mark a whiskey tasting at Galway Bay, one of Annapolis's best Irish restaurants, from 7 to 9 p.m. Want to support a great cause? Head on over to Fado Irish Pub & Restaurant on March 12th from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. for the Saint Baldrick's head shave event, all to raise money and awareness for children fighting cancer! Other events through the week include Guiness glass engraving, a performance by Irish celtic rock band The Young Dubliners on March 16th at Rams Head on Stage, and the citywide Annapolis St. Patrick's Day festival on the 17th!
