Not All Spray Tans are Created Equal

If you are new to spray tanning it is important to understand that not all spray tans are created equal. You could have a terrible experience at one salon, and an amazing expereince at another. There are many factors involved that affect the end result achieved and your entire experience.

1. Your Specialist: Spray tanning is a true art, you could have a terrible tan with one specialist and a great one with another. It is important to ensure that your airbrush artist is certified and also has plenty of expereince, in addtion you never want a "one size fits all" tan. If you choose to get a spray tan from a booth you will get those results. We custom contour for every tan, and make your face lighter, legs and stomach darker for the most natrual looking results. We can also cater to any preferencs you may have based on the occasion you are tanning for and skin type. 2. Product: There are millions of products on the market that can be used to provide your airbrush tan. Chosing a salon with the right product is very important when it comes to spray tanning. The Tan Cabana takes pride in exclusivly using Infinity Sun, which is considered the "Rolls Royce" or "Apple" of sunless tanning. Our product is made in Beverly Hills, CA and is also odorless, organic, dries instantly (feels like air when being applied, never wet or sticky), self correcting and NEVER tested on animals. (does it get much better?!) Our airbrush tans last 7-10 days and always fade evenly. The saying "you pay for what you get" is always so true, you could go down the street and probobally find a twenty dollar spray tan from another 'specialist' but whatever product they are using may most likely be generic and for lack of a better word "cheap". We have had clients who tested the waters and went to one of the more inexpensive salons down the road and they always regret it and call us asking if we can either re-tan them (because the tan was too light) or help even their tan out (because it was splotchy) or in some cases conceal the patches from the tan fading unevenly. Avoid the situation in the first place and feel comfortable booking with the experts, you will not regret it!

3. Enviornment: When you go to receive your spray tan, the enviornment should be clean, friendly, comfortable and inviting. At The Tan Cabana our salon features a full waiting room (newly renovated) with complimentry beverages and lots of magazines to chose from. Our airbrush specialists are extremly knowledgebale and friendly making you feel most comfortable. The room that we tan you in provides a state of the art mist removal system (thats right, no tent at the cabana!) so that none of the after spray from tanning spreads or is inhaled along with the newest tanning technology equiptment used to give you that gorgeous glow. Our tanning process is open and easy. You are never confined to a small closed area like a tent, and always properly instructed so that you will enjoy the quick and easy process confidantly. The Tan Cabana does not use the old fashioned "cup and gun" system, so there is virtually no mess, or wait time and you can expect to be in and out of your entire appointment in just 20 minutes from start to finish.
