‘Tis the season to be merry, and what better way to do so than with a gorgeous holiday spray tan from The Tan Cabana? Some of The Tan Cabana’s favorite events are happening this time of year, and we feel lucky to live in the bustling metropolis of Annapolis! 1. Lights on the Bay at Sandy Point State Park

The 21st annual light show held here in Annapolis by the Anne Arundel Medical Center, this event features a two-mile scenic drive along Chesapeake Bay with over 70 animated lights displays to admire. A nightly scavenger hunt is a favorite with the kids, and the route will be open nightly and decorated from November until January 2nd, 2016. 2. The 2015 Military Bowl

A favorite among Annapolis sports fans, the Military Bowl this year is between the Midshipmen of Navy and the Pittsburgh Panthers, and will be held on December 28th. Kickoff is set for 2:30 p.m., and a special event will be held beforehand this year: the Military Bowl Parade, featuring the Budweiser Clydesdales. At 11 a.m. they along with Medal of Honor recipients, mascots, and team bands will lead the parade from City Dock in downtown Annapolis to the Navy-Marine Corps Memorial Stadium. 3. New Year’s Annapolis at City Dock

This family-oriented event will offer attendees live musical performances, fireworks shows, and a huge midnight display to ring in 2016 right. From 3 to 7:30 p.m. will be a variety of fun events, at which point an “early bird” fireworks display is scheduled. From 8 p.m. to midnight partygoers can enjoy the dock with live music, and celebrate outside when the clock strikes to signify the New Year! 4. Holiday Parties in Downtown Annapolis

Gathering friends and family together for a special Christmas or New Year’s event? Why not do so in a beautiful downtown Annapolis setting? Known as the sailing capital of the U.S., Annapolis has a plethora of options, like the stately O’Callaghan Annapolis Hotel and Loews Annapolis Hotel, to the centrally located Westin Annapolis and Historic Inns of Annapolis.
