Official Halloween Annapolis Pub Crawl: Taking place on the weekend of Halloween, this pub crawl in the heart of downtown Annapolis promises to be a fun and festive experience. Halloween Happening at Anne Arundel County Fairgrounds: Celebrating its 26th year in existence, the Halloween Happening at the renowned Anne Arundel County Fairgrounds in Crownsville will certainly leave you talking about it for weeks afterwards! Begin the tour walking through “Happy’s House,” the fairgrounds’ proprietor (a spirit who will apparently be dressed in white and might not be the “happiest” to have you in his home). Then take a haunted hayride past ghouls and other scary creatures—all the while knowing you are much tanner than the many ghosts haunting the grounds! Walking Ghost Tour: This 90-minute tour through downtown Annapolis will take you to some of the most historic (and haunted) places in Maryland’s capital. Hear about the “Headless Man” and Amy, a young woman who fell to her death and apparently haunts Rams Head Tavern.
